As my inspiration is seashells I wanted to add gathers to my fabric manipulation task, because they reminds me of the seashell texture and surface. I created a samples of the machine and hand-stitched gathering and explained the whole technique process. And attached a few photos of the Chanel collection wich I was inspired by. I used to practised this fabric manipulation before in my previous Architecture project and in my personal time. I believe my samples are quite effective and original.
