Pattern for a bodice block+balloon sleeves+Cuffs

To make a pattern for a bodice block I drew around basic bodice block, drew in all darts , marked notches and Cf and Cb, marked the grainline. On the Cf I closed the shoulder dart and opened new one- bust dart, placing the paper underneath and securing with yhe masking tape. For the Cb same method and I left all darts in as it is on the basic block.

To make a new blocks I traced it off the draft blocks, I added seam allowances on the neckline-1cm, on sides, armhole nod waistline-1,5 cm.imageBalloon sleeves

I drew around basic bodice sleeve block, marked noches and grainline. I divided the sleeve into two pieces by drawing the line across the block so I could have a separate piece for the balloon sleeve. To make my sleeve more curvier I drew curvy line from the underarm up to the middle of the sleeve and then I drew the line outside the actual block line.imageTo make a new block for the shoulder I traced it off on the new piece of the paper and added 1.5 cm seam allowance and cut it out.imageFor the balloon sleeve I drew around the draft on the new piece of paper , I drew in 6 lines down from top to the hemline I cut them in, opened and placed the paper underneath and secured it with the masking tape, so each opening has a 4 cmimageTo make a new block I traced it off on the new piece of paper and added 1.5cm seam allowance on sides and 1cm on the top of the sleeveimageA cuff.

I decided to make a cuff which I can slip my hand in, so I measured around my hand and had 27 cm. So I drew 27 cm horizontal line, when drew 6cm line down and got a rectangle shape. Then I drew horizontal line across of the rectangle dividing a rectangle into two halfs. So that line makes a folding line. Then added 1.5cm seam allowance around the cuff and cutted out.image
