Circular ruffle

I made a circular ruffle out of the cotton fabric for my fabric manipulation task. The important thing was to produce a successful  template. And then cut it out of the chosen fabric.

In my previous projects I was experimenting with different fabric manipulations, so this time I decided to make a ruffle as one of the assignments of the task. In future projects I will experiment with more fabric manipulations .

Then making this circular ruffle I followed the instructions. Unfortunately I made a mistake by not selecting a correct fabric. My selected fabric is cotton and it’s fraying.

I’m happy of the outcome of this experiment. I’m very pleased how I cut it out of the fabric and how all edges are even.

If I have more time I would improve this fabric manipulation. I would change the fabric into the wool , wich is not fraying or I would use the binding on the edge of the fabric.
